You’re Invited to SC Johnson Professional’s Virtual Exhibit

By SC Johnson Professional

The past year has significantly affected the tradeshow industry as most large, in-person gatherings were cancelled nationally due to pandemic restrictions. These cancellations caused challenges, especially in the B2B industry, as we heavily rely on face-to-face marketing tactics such as tradeshows to reach customers and prospects, generate leads and even speed up the sales cycle.

The Road so Far

In 2020 alone, restrictions impacted 100% of SC Johnson Professional’s tradeshows, causing the events to be rescheduled to virtual platforms or completely canceled. According to surveys conducted in EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Exhibitor Insight Report, White Paper #4, only 62% of respondents surveyed in September 2020 believed tradeshows would rebound fully at the end of 2021 at the earliest. Forty-eight percent of respondents surveyed in November of 2020 don’t believe a full rebound will occur until 2022. Even if we see a full rebound, corporate managers and vendors/suppliers anticipate the elimination of large-group sessions, lower attendance numbers for 2021, wider aisles and spaced-out booths, fewer staff and a shift toward smaller or regional alternatives.

If there’s anything that the pandemic has taught us, it’s that there’s always a need for flexibility. What does that mean for businesses in the B2B industry who can’t reach customers and prospects through tradeshows? It’s simple. We’ll bring the tradeshow to you…virtually.

Virtual Exhibits – Now “Open” for Business

Surveys show a sharp increase in shifting to virtual experiences. In fact, 69% of companies implemented digital or virtual events, 67% implemented virtual trade shows or exhibits and 78% implemented webinar or video meetings. To bridge the gap between canceled tradeshows and meeting with customers safely, SC Johnson Professional launched its own virtual exhibit.

The exhibit features unique content and allows you to take a guided “tour” with one of our knowledgeable sales reps to ensure you get all questions answered and find the information you need. This immersive experience provides information on our new and existing, trusted products.

What to Expect

Our virtual exhibit is modeled after our tradeshow booths and includes a variety of exclusive content.  As you take a guided tour, you’ll notice that each of our kiosks have themes that highlight each area of focus for our products. For example, our virtual reception desk provides overall company content, providing information on who we are and what we have to offer.

Our other kiosks highlight:

  • New products and innovations: Our virtual exhibit spotlights new products such as TruShot 2.0™, the new revamp of our innovative TruShot Mobile dispensing system that requires no mixing, measuring or stopping in the ease of an RTU bottle. Here, you’ll find intro brochures, overview catalogs and innovation videos only available to exhibit visitors.

  • Digital innovations: With 42% of B2B customers using mobile devices to make purchases, SC Johnson Professional updated their digital offerings that includes Faciliscan™, a new mobile facility auditing application created to ease the facility cleaning and estimating process. Visitors can also learn more about SC Johnson Professional’s distributor portal distributor sales rep resource, and Pick & Mix design site that allows businesses to design their own custom dispensers.

  • Infection prevention materials: As businesses continue to prepare for more in-person foot traffic, it’s important to have the necessary materials that can help mitigate the spread of germs. That’s why SC Johnson Professional launched the Targeted Hygiene program, which shifts the focus to hygiene behavior and identifying the 8 moments of high-risk infection transmission to break the chain of infection. Here, visitors can download white papers, brochures, our COVID-19 technical bulletin and learn more about how to select the right product for their facility needs.
